Get swinging just a few steps away from the capital! The Sion Golf Club is located in the heart of the Rhône valley, just a few minutes from the city. With the mysterious castles of Valère and Tourbillon looking on, and the vineyards and mountains all around, this golf course enjoys an exceptional microclimate that enables it to stay open practically all year round. The 18-hole course was opened in 2002, seven years after the original 9-hole course.

Bordered by the Rhône to the north, and by the Borgne woods to the east, this land is sprinkled with fruit trees and bodies of water. These provide players with interesting challenges without any artificial – or insurmountable – obstacles. The fairways are broad and the greens are generous.

The Sion Golf Club aims to offer a selective, interesting course for all types of players, though without any unnecessary headaches. And they have achieved it. The course is rendered even more pleasant by a different, exceptional panoramic view from each hole.

The club provides a warm, dynamic reception and, to top it all off, the clubhouse restaurant has an excellent reputation.
