At an altitude of 2000 meters (the highest in Europe!), the Riederalp Golf Club is located in the Aletsch region, which has been designated as a natural world heritage site by UNESCO. The adventure already begins on the way to the golf course. The traffic-free resort of Riederalp can only be reached by cable car. From Mörel, below, you simply get onto the big car that takes you to the village of Riederalp in just a few minutes. The golf course is very close to the cable car landing.
The course opens up in the midst of an idyllic setting, with an incredible view of the mountains and the Rhône valley. Like a high-altitude terrace, the terrain is completely flat, with a scattering of young trees, a few water hazards and surrounding biotopes. The motto of the Riederalp Golf Club is “Golf for Everyone”. It is especially well suited to beginners and players who want to improve their game.
At the clubhouse, golfers can easily get acquainted with one another in an old-fashioned, warm, family-style ambience that is far from everyday worries.
