Matterhorn Golf Club

Playing golf next to the majestic Matterhorn is a unique experience! The road that leads to the golf course from Visp (about 30 minutes) makes its way through an impressive landscape. Upon arrival, just as you leave the village of Randa, you discover a course that is perfectly integrated with the grandeur of its natural setting of imposing mountains. From this viewpoint, the view over the Klein Matterhorn and the Breithorn is striking. At the Matterhorn golf course, there is a pleasantly timeless atmosphere, which is reinforced by the presence of the small red train that climbs to Zermatt, on a line that runs alongside the golf course.

Despite this location in the midst of the mountains, the terrain is flat, except for the greens. Players will encounter a highly varied course with a new set of requirements for each hole and numerous water obstacles. This makes for an enjoyable game that calls for tactics and technique, in just the right amounts to avoid leaving golfers frustrated at the end of the game.

After the game, the all-wood clubhouse with a pleasant terrace welcomes golfers with a simple, warm atmosphere.
